(MENAFN) Qatar Liquefied Gas Company 4 (Qatargas 4) inked an agreement with UK-based Petronas LNG, The Peninsula Qatar reported.
The five-year sales and purchase agreement (SPA) is for 1.14 million tons of LNG per year and will be effective as of January of next year.
Qatargas 4 will supply the LNG from its Train 7 to be delivered using Q-Flex LNG vessels to Petronas' Dragon LNG Terminal in the UK.
The Minister of Energy & Industry and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Qatargas said: "This is a ground-breaking agreement between two well established and leading companies in the LNG sector, which further strengthens the existing relationship between Qatargas and Petronas."
