Bizarre Accident Kills Pedestrian Reports Phillips Law Group


(MENAFNEditorial) (EMAILWIRE.COM, September 17, 2013 ) PHOENIX, AZ A 25 year old Pedestrian has been killed in a bizarre vehicle traffic collision that took place on Sunday evening on McDowell and 15th Avenue in Phoenix. A vehicle was traveling southbound on 15th Avenue when it suddenly collided with another vehicle heading eastbound on McDowell. This caused one of the vehicles to spin out of control and strike a traffic pole. This collision with the traffic pole caused it to collapse onto the 25 year old man killing him instantly. A woman riding in the passenger seat of the vehicle got out of the vehicle and noticed blood all over the sidewalk, he had no pulse. Police reports indicate that the man was walking away from the intersection and may have not even noticed the pole falling behind him. All occupants of both vehicles were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. At this point, neither driver has been held at fault for the accident, while both drivers are blaming each other. When determined, the driver may be facing charges relating to the death of the young man.
