Pakistan sells 26 pct of Pakistan International Airlines


(MenaFn) Nawaz Sharif"s government, Pakistan"s new Prime Minister, planned to sell 26 percent of Pakistan International Airlines' (PIA) shares, according to Khaleej Times. The process is planned to start with immediate effect. Sharif ordered the Minister of Privatization and the Civil Aviation Division to begin operating on the privatization plan during a top level meeting. An official said: "The government is fully committed to the reform and restructure of all ailing state enterprises, including PIA."
