(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Sudanese National Congress Party (NCP) in a meeting held Friday morning under the chairmanship of President Omer Al-Bashir approved lifting of subsidies on fuel and the economic policies to bridge a gap in balance of payment and subsidies on fuel.
In a press statement, Dr. Nafei Ali Nafei assistant of President of the Republic and the Deputy Chairman of the NCP for party's affairs said the NCP heard to a report submitted by the Vice - President of the Republic and Chairman of the Political Sector of the National Congress, Dr. Al-Haj Adam, in his capacity as the chairman of the economic programme which aims to stabilize the economy so that the spending on revenues to be a real. During the NCP's meeting a number of proposals on increasing revenues and reducing expenses which will be discussed by senior officials in the coming days, Dr.Nafei said.
