Qatar grants Egypt USD2 billion
(MENAFN) Hisham Ramez, Egypt's central bank governor, reported that Qatar granted the bank a USD2 billion deposit, according to Khaleej Times.
An official in the bank said if the negotiations to convert the funds into bonds did not succeed, Egypt would have to repay USD2 billion within days which was a reason behind doubts and talks.
