Oman oil output increase slightly

(MENAFN) The Omani Ministry of Oil and Gas said that the Sultanate's crude oil and condensates output in August has risen 3 percent compared with the month before it, Times of Oman reported. The total exported crude oil in August dropped 5.2 percent in comparison with the previous month. It should also be noted that during August 2013, Oman's crude oil prices increased due to fears of supply disruptions from Libya and fears of violence and turbulence in Egypt as well as fears of the impact on traffic in the Suez Canal which is already witnessing problems in oil exports.
