BlackBerry's shares rise 3 pct


(MenaFn) The shares of BlackBerry increased 3 percent after a Canadian investor was closing in after the company announced itself for sale, according to Arab News. The company's shares reached USD11.17 in pre-market trading compared to the previous price of USD10.84 as Prem Watsa, the Canadian investor, supported the company from pension funds for a bid. As BlackBerry announced its sale, Watsa's company, which is the BlackBerry's biggest shareholder with 10 percent, planned to separate from BlackBerry's board in August.
