India's mobile phone prices dropped 60 pct

(MENAFN) Mobile phones prices in India have fell down to 60 percent in the minimum auction prices, according to Arab News. Bharti Airtel Ltd. and Vodafone Group Plc's local business in India showed a positive response to the prices' cut and they did not immediately comment. Many carriers preferred staying away from the auction in November 2012 and in the current year's March as the minimum prices were too high.
