Kuwait- Drunk juveniles insult, beat police


(MENAFN- Arab Times) The Farwaniya police have arrested two juveniles for insulting and assaulting two securitymen on duty. According to security sources the victims ordered two men riding in a white Japanese car to pull over because the man behind the wheel was driving recklessly. They refused to obey and continued driving and they were chased by the police until they reached the suburb of Abdullah Al-Mubarak. The youths then pulled over and continued to run on foot chased by the police. When finally police arrested them, they hurled insults and beat the securitymen. Both of them were high on alcohol. One of them is a 21-yearold bedoun and the other is 15- year-old Kuwaiti. Police have found in their car a bottle of booze. Both of them have been referred to the Juvenile Prosecution.
