Kuwait- Phone cheat caught


(MENAFN- Arab Times) Police have arrested an Egyptian man and are looking for a compatriot for swindling a number of citizens by selling them counterfeit cell phones, reports Al- Watan Arabic daily. The suspects claimed they were representing an electronics company and made the victims believe they had won a prize and gave them a cell phone costing KD 200 for just KD 50. The victims later realized they had paid money for cheap quality mobiles. Moreover, when they contacted the company, the company denied making offers or selling the product. Following complaints filed by several men with the Adan Police Station securitymen managed to arrest one of them and are looking for the other.
