Japan economy grew more than initially expected


(MENAFN) Economy in Japan in the second quarter of this year expanded more than initially estimated, Times of Oman reported. The new figures show that companies' capital spending increased considerably in the period. New investments were expected to drop 0.1 percent, but the revised figures show a 1.3 percent increase. The Cabinet Office announced that the economy in the second quarter expanded by 0.3 percent more than the initial 0.6 percent. The annualized growth figure for this year was increased from 2.6 percent to 3.8 percent.
