DMCA, TRA sign MoU on permit issues


(MENAFN- Khaleej Times) The Dubai Maritime City Authority (DMCA), the government authority charged with regulating, coordinating and supervising all aspects of the maritime sector in Dubai, has announced that it has recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the UAE Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA) to jointly work on facilitating the issuance of permits for wireless devices to licensed marine crafts. The agreement was signed by Majid Sultan Al Mesmar, TRA Deputy Director General, and Ali Al Dabbous, executive director of operations at DMCA in the presence of a number of senior officials and managers from both sides.
