Kuwait: 27 Citations In Fish Market Raid


(MENAFN- Arab Times) Emergency team from the Capital launched a sudden inspection campaign at the Fish Market in Mubarakiya early Thursday morning and issued 27 citations for inappropriate transport of foodstuffs. In a statement to KUNA, head of the team Tariq Al-Qattan stressed that field inspection campaigns on all activities will continue over an unspecified period, in coordination with the concerned authorities in the Municipality and Interior Ministry. Meanwhile, the Public Relations Department urges citizens and expatriates to call hotline '139' to report any violation in food, public cleanliness or hawking to the Municipality to facilitate application of rules and regulations to put an end to illegal activities.
