UAE- Indian ICT firms actively participated at India Trade Fair

(MENAFN- Khaleej Times) Indian ICT companies actively participated at India Trade Fair to explore business opportunities in the UAE and other parts of the Gulf region, according to the regional official of Electronics and Computer Software Export Promotional Council, or ESC. The three-day exhibition concluded in Dubai on Wednesday. "Indian ICT companies are participating in the exhibition under ESC and launching a number of products," informed Kamal Vachani, Regional Director of ESC for the Middle East. The Middle East region is one of the fastest growing ICT markets in the world, Vachani said, adding that high growth prevails across all segments, and the market is driven by economic diversification and various e-government initiatives in sectors like finance, communications and manufacturing. The region continues to enjoy solid growth rates despite global slowdown. A number of Indian companies, therefore, find Dubai an ideal location for enhancing their businesses. India is witnessing a very high growth in exports of electronics hardware.
