(MENAFN) According to a Global Travel Intentions study performed by Visa, Saudi tourists are the world's biggest spenders, Saudi Gazette reported.
Saudis spent an average of USD6,414 on each trip versus a global average of USD2,501, The survey shows.
The study reveals that travelers from the Middle East and Africa spend USD218 per day versus a global average of USD239 per day.
Last year, Saudis visiting the UAE spent a combined USD420.4 million on their Visa cards.
