(MENAFN) Bahrain discussed its plan to strengthen its commercial posture with Illinois, a US state, during meetings held yesterday by the Bahraini Economic Development Board (EDB) and professionals from Illinois, according to Gulf Daily News.
The US meetings' participants varied between economists, services advisors, entrepreneurs, chamber officials, and others, while officials from the Bahraini Chamber of Commerce attended the meetings.
The meeting focused on the importance of Tamkeen's role in the private sector and stressed on the importance of the non-oil sector in Bahrain that is expected to support Bahrain in the future.
