Algeria Sends Humanitarian Assistance to Namibia

(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Algeria has sent urgent humanitarian assistance to Namibia which suffered from long periods of drought. In a statement to this effect the, Algerian foreign ministry said the assistance, which consists of foodstuffs, were sent today to Windhoek in coordination with the Algerian air force and the people's national army. The statement said Algeria, through this solidarity work, contributes to the alleviation of the suffering of people in Namibia which was severely affected by the extraordinarily negative climatic conditions in the country.
