Japanese yen hesitantly moves versus major peers on Syrian tensions

Japanese yen noticed a drop during today’s Asian session among major currencies after reaching its strongest level in two weeks against the greenback as traders sought haven investments amid escalating tension in Syria.

Japanese yen fell versus American dollar after yesterday’s noticeable gains, where the USD/JPY pair recorded high of 97.284 after hitting its low of 96.867, where the pair started today’s session at 96.879.

Japanese yen inclined against the Euro to a record during today’s Asian session, where the EUR/JPY pair records its low of 129.850 and high of 130.072. GBP/JPY also fell to record low of 150.625 from high of 150.926.

On the other hand, Euro fell against dollar today after yesterday’s gains, where the EUR/USD pair recorded low of 1.33802 after hitting its highest at 1.33968.
