(MENAFN) Islamabad plans to extend the Pakistani gas pipeline to China, though the US refused the plan, according to Tehran Times. A meeting will be held between Pakistani and Chinese officials today, August 26, to talk about the pipeline extension from Gwadar to western China, in addition to discussing the memorandum of understanding they will sign. This project aims to push up the economic status of both countries as trade activities will be promoted by connecting roads and railways through Gwadar Port.
