Sudan receives oil transportation fees from South Sudan


(MENAFN) Sudan collected over USD230 million in fees on oil exports from South Sudan, Times of Oman reported. The collection came days before a deadline set by the Sudanese government to halt pumping oil pipelines. The fees are for transporting oil from South Sudan to the Port Sudan export terminal and a compensation for the lost oil when the South separated.
