Kuwait: 3 Transvestites held

(MENAFN- Arab Times) Three transvestites were arrested in Salmiya for consuming alcohol inside their vehicle prior to attending an illicit party being held in an apartment in the area. According to security sources, Hawally securitymen were patrolling Salmiya area when they noticed a tinted vehicle parked in front of a building. They approached the vehicle and found three men with makeup sitting inside. Securitymen checked their Civil IDs to discover that one is an Arab national while the other two are Kuwaiti citizens. Detecting the smell of liquor from the vehicle, securitymen asked them to step out and checked the vehicle to find an imported liquor bottle and some women clothing. When they were questioned, they confessed that they were on their way to an apartment where an illicit party was being held. They revealed that they were being paid to attend such parties organized by some youths who prefer inviting transvestites or hermaphrodites instead of girls. They also revealed that they were planning to wear the women clothing before heading to the party. The three suspects were arrested and referred to the concerned authorities for necessary legal action against them. Meanwhile, Hawally security were patrolling Hawally area when they stopped a sports car for checking. They found a couple sitting inside the vehicle and checked their details to discover the driver is a Syrian national while the woman with him is an Asian expatriate working in a textile shop. When securitymen realized they were in an illegal relationship, they arrested them and referred them to the concerned authorities.
