Tunisia's SONEDE Gets 60 million euro Loan from Germany


(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) A loan agreement worth 60 million Euros (120 MTD), was signed by Tunisia's National Water Development and Distribution Corporation (SONEDE) and Germany's KfW Development Bank for the setting up of sea water desalination plant in Djerba (governorate of Medenine), Tunisian News Agency (TAP) reported. The loan will be repaid over a period of 15 years with a grace period of five years will be allocated for the completion of a new water desalination plant with a production capacity of 50 thousand cubic meters per day in the island of Djerba, south-east of Tunisia, Tunisia's Ministry of Investment and International Cooperation said in a statement.
