The yen fell against majors

The Japanese yen ended this week with a fall versus most of major currencies in today’s Asian session, where most of currencies showed quite trading amid the absence of heavy weighted economic data today.

The yen fell versus the union currency after yesterday’s gains, and the EUR/JPY pair recorded a high of 132.1245 from a low of 132.056, while the pair started today’s session at 132.071.

Meanwhile, the yen traded in narrow ranges today versus the dollar, and the USD/JPY pair gained today to record its highest at 99.094 from a low of 98.830. GBP/JPY pair also inclined to a high of 154.281 from a low of 154.181.

From another side, New Zealand’s dollar extended its series of losses versus its American counterpart for the fifth straight session, where the NZD/USD pair traded today near 0.78326 recording its highest at 0.78480 and a low of 0.78172.

The Australian dollar inclined versus the greenback for the second straight session, having the AUD/USD pair recording a high of 0.90359 from a low of 0.89998.
