Mangalore buys first Iran oil cargo since April


(MENAFN) India"s largest Iranian oil buyer, Mangalore Refinery & Petrochemicals Ltd. (MRPL), bought its first cargo from Iran in this fiscal year, Tehran Times reported. Mangalore purchased a cargo OF 85,000 metric tons of oil, which was delivered on August 17, and purchased three more similar cargoes, but with no delivery date announced. This purchase, the refiners first since April comes after the Indian Finance Minister's announcment that his country intends to buy Iranian oil while conforming with UN sanctions.
