(MENAFN- Khaleej Times) Al Nabooda Automobiles has revealed that the Passat is the key driver behind the most successful month ever recorded by Volkswagen Dubai.
An increase of 175 per cent in Passat sales was achieved during July compared to the same period in 2012.
Al Nabooda Automobiles, the exclusive dealer for Volkswagen in Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman, Umm Al Quwain and Ras Al Khaimah, has sold more Passat vehicles in the first seven months of 2013 compared to the whole of 2012, with overall average monthly sales up by 50 per cent. Volkswagen Dubai saw Passat sales grow by 275 per cent and Jetta by 187 per cent in July. Other high-performing models included the best-selling Tiguan and Jetta.
Figures also indicated a strong start for the iconic new seventh-generation Volkswagen Golf and Golf GTI. "The team at Al Nabooda Automobiles works exceptionally hard to deliver a quality service to our customers... This phenomenal increase in sales is evidence of this hard work," said Thierry Seys, general manager for Volkswagen at Al Nabooda Automobiles.
