(MENAFN) British oil and gas investments is forecasted to reach USD21.1 billion in 2013, said a report released by industry group Oil & Gas UK.
The Group"s chief executive, Malcolm Webb, said: "The recent sharpening of focus within Government and industry on the business environment required to grow that contribution in future has given investors the confidence to develop new fields and redevelop older fields, so we are now seeing the highest-ever investment."
The reported said, however, that the UK total oil production will drop by 8.5 percent in the current year.
