Contract to develop third Dammam industrial city inked


(MENAFN) A USD 146.6 million deal for the development of the third industrial city in Dammam was signed by the Minister of Commerce and Industry, Tawfiq Al-Rabiah, Arab News reported. The contract is for the development of the first phase's second part which is expected to finish in two years. Saleh Al-Rasheed, director general of the Saudi Industrial Property Authority (MODON) said the project includes the construction of drinking water pipelines, rainwater drainage pipes, sewage network and industrial water networks. New projects are also being developed at the industrial city. Such projects include roads, lighting, and electricity projects, Al-Rasheed added.
