(MENAFN) The largest refinery in Libya loaded the first oil products tanker in three weeks since the beginning of the labor unrests that damaged the country's oil sector, the Peninsula Qatar reported.
The Cape Benat tanker, headed for Italy, was loaded with kerosene used for jet fuel at the Ras Lanuf refinery.
Strikes and protests in Libyan oil fields and two of its largest ports caused exports as well as oil production output to fall to its lowest since the revolt that overthrew Muammar Gaddafi two years ago.
