(MENAFN- Arab Times) Two unidentified youths tried in vain to rob a 20- year old Bedoun of his money in Oyoun-Jahra after threatening him at knife point amid severe beatings. The suspects escaped after the incident but left a mobile phone at the scene. A case was registered in Taima police station after the victim submitted medical report indicating injuries he sustained due to beating. Apparently, the victim went to a ATM machine in Oyoun area to withdraw money when he noticed two youths approaching him. He was surprised when suddenly the youths drew a knife and threatened to stab him after they tried to take the money he withdrew by force. He was able to resist them, although they severely assaulted and injured him. Police are since looking for the suspects.
