Huge options for Indian IT exports to Middle East


(MENAFN- Khaleej Times) Middle East has great potential for export of India's computer software and services, electronics and computer software, Export Promotion Council, or ESC regional representative Kamal Vachani said in a statement on Thursday. India's export of computer software and services during 2012-13 registered an estimated growth of 10.26 per cent over the year 2011-12, according to the statement. The export of computer software and services during 2012-13 crossed $75 billion from $68 billion in 2011-12, Vachani said. The export to the Middle East has increased substantial and to the UAE in particular, he said. ESC plans to penetrate Dubai as the leading market and would give extra thrust in promoting trade to Middle Eastern countries, he added.
