Saudi Arabia is to apply smart electricity generating plans


(MENAFN) Saudi Arabia: Electricity generation smart plans will be applied over the course of the three years 2013, 2014, 2015 in Saudi Arabia, according to Arab News. This project will cost USD50.6 billion and aims to cover the country's needs for electricity, especially in the hot summer season and decrease its dependence on and consumption of oil. The electric power generation will be considered by the Gulf Cooperation Council countries to lessen their dependent on oil sources and use alternative energy sources for power during the next years.
