Finnair back to profit

(MENAFN) The Finnish carries, Finnair, earned in the three months period ended June 30 after suffering a loss in the prior-year period, The peninsula Qatar reported. The profit, which was cited to an asset sale, was USD22.4 million in Q2 versus a big loss of USD25 million the same period a year before. The Finnish airline company also suffered a loss of USD20.9 million in this year's first quarter. Although sales boosted by three percent in the April-June period reaching USD808.3 million, the USD45 million sale of its 4.7 percent share in Norwegian Air Shuttle was the only contributor to the second quarter's positive results.
