(MENAFN- Arab Times) Three young women - Kuwaiti, Syrian and Bedoun - were arrested in Shaab for consuming alcohol. Hawally securitymen, who were patrolling the area, noticed the suspicious movement of a vehicle late at night. The officers signaled for the driver to pull over and then they demanded for the identification documents of the driver - a young Kuwaiti woman - and her two companions. While checking the identification documents of the women, the officers observed they were under the influence of alcohol.
This led to a thorough search of the vehicle where the officers found a glass full of liquor near the driver's seat. The women were taken to a nearby police station where they admitted to consuming alcohol in a party they attended in the area with other youths. A case was registered and the necessary legal action was taken against the young women.
