Kuwait- Woman Accuses 2 Maids Of Killing Her Grandmother

(MENAFN- Arab Times) A Kuwaiti woman has accused two Asian housemaids of murdering her grandmother, reports Annahar daily. According to sources, the woman was infuriated when the chief investigator refused to register a complaint even though she strongly believed the housemaids deliberately killed her grandmother. She revealed that her grandmother's jewelry and KD 1,000 in her possession was missing prior to her death. She indicated that she is waiting for the forensic report to take necessary action. In a similar story, a Kuwaiti citizen lodged a complaint at Jahra Police Station against his Asian housemaid, accusing her of attempting to kill him and his family by poisoning their food, reports Al-Shahed daily. The citizen had taken the housemaid to the police station and informed securitymen that he noticed the deteriorating health conditions of his children. The housemaid denied the charges and requested for the testimony of the wife of the complainant. The Kuwaiti woman also denied the charges, informing securitymen that her husband was delusional and paranoid. The housemaid was eventually released.
