Copper swings after Japanese growth data
(MENAFN- Khaleej Times) Copper swung between gains and drops in New York as investors weighed weaker-than-projected economic growth in Japan against signs of improvement in China, the world's biggest consumer of the metal.
Copper for delivery in September was little changed at $3.3055 a pound by 7:06 a.m. on the Comex in New York after both adding and sliding as much as 0.7 percent. Copper for delivery in three months was little changed at $7,273 a metric ton on the London Metal Exchange.
