Qatar- Mannai Corp posts record H1 revenue

(MENAFN- The Peninsula) Mannai Corporation Group posted a record revenue of QR2.94bn for the first half of 2013. The figure reflects a high 45 percent increase compared to the revenue posted in the same period in 2012. The net profit during H1 2013 increased to QR192.9m, up 15 percent over the same period in the previous year. Earnings per share decreased due to the rights issue of November, 2012 to fund acquisitions. Alekh Grewal, Group Chief Executive Officer and Director said strategic investments in the region to diversify the group's earnings have enabled it to achieve remarkable growth in revenue and profits. Alekh added: "With its strong financial position, Mannai Group is well positioned to play a major role to support the country's economic growth and explore opportunities for continued acquisitions internationally".
