(MENAFN) Algeria's oil and gas exports recorded USd34.50 billion in the first half, down 7.05 percent from last year, reported The Peninsula Qatar.
Oil exports, which comprise 97 percent of the country's total exports, were affected by lower oil prices, smuggling and dropping government revenues.
It's worth mentioning that the Finance Ministry announced its precautionary plans to cut expenses if oil prices continued to fall.
