Afghanistan seeks alternatives for Pakistan ports
(MENAFN) Afghanistan is seeking alternative ways to export goods for Europe and India than the Pakistani ports for trade, reported Alarabiya.
The land-locked country eyed Iran for an agreement to use one of Iran trade ports, as the Afghani traders have been affected negatively by the political dispute between the United States and Pakistan which caused closing the borders with Afghanistan more than once.
The spokesman for Afghanistan's Ministry of Commerce and Industries stated that Iran has permitted Afghanistan to export foods and carpets will allow the Afghani exports to increase.
