UAE- Mohammed receives leaders of business community


(MENAFN- Khaleej Times) His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, met with CEOs and presidents of Arab and foreign investment companies and corporations and business community leaders at Al Bahr on Monday evening. Shaikh Mohammed, in the presence of Shaikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai; and Shaikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai; welcomed more than 600 investors and businessmen who run their businesses in the UAE Shaikh Mohammed shook hands with his guests and exchanged cordial talks with them on a variety of topics regarding their living and work conditions. Shaikh Mohammed affirmed to the audience that he was keen to meet with them, especially in the holy month of Ramadan, to get assured of their well-being and listen to their proposals. He also stressed on the government's keenness in providing best facilities to ensure success and growth of their businesses for mutual benefit of their firms and the national economy. As he acquainted himself with investors and businessmen and their sectors of business, Shaikh Mohammed expressed his pleasure with the presence of such broad cultural diversity in the UAE, which allows UAE citizens to get knowledge about cultures of more than 200 nationalities who, in turn, acquaint themselves with the culture and civilisation of Arab people. Leaders of the business community were glad at meeting Shaikh Mohammed and listening to his positive views, which they said bring optimism in a state that upholds tolerant Arab and Islamic values and traditions and has laws that protect all without distinction. Shaikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Dubai Aviation Authority and Chairman of Emirates Group; Shaikh Mansour bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum; Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Gargawi, Minister for Cabinet Affairs; Sultan bin Saeed Al Mansouri, Minister of Economy; and a number of senior officials.
