Yemen Resumes Oil Pumping in Main Export Pipeline

(MENAFN- Arab Times)  Yemen has resumed pumping crude oil through its main export pipeline, after armed tribesmen blew it up on Thursday in the eastern province of Maarib, government source announced. In a press statement today, the source said that oil pumping resumed to the export terminal on the Red Sea after engineers repaired the rupture in the pipeline caused by Thursday's attack. The repairing process took place under tight security, the source added. Pumping crude oil in Yemen interrupted for several times due to the repeated attacks since 2011, causing fuel shortages and slashing export earnings for the country.
