Jordan and Iraq seek to overcome investment challenges


(MENAFN) Jordanian Interior Minister Hussein Majali met representatives from the Iraqi Business Council (IBC) to talk about the means of boosting cooperation between the countries, reported the Jordan Times The minister explained that there are plans to meet the investors' needs as he reiterated on the importance of foreign investment. The representatives put forward few challenges regarding obtaining a visa, residence and renewal. The Jordanian minister decided to launch a committee headed by the ministry�s Secretary General Sameh Majali and formed from the two countries. The committee is to offer solutions and suggestions to overcome problems Iraqi investors face in the kingdom.
