(MENAFN) Nigeria and India came to an agreement to establish solar power plants in the African country to support its grid, reported Saudi Gazette.
Daily Trust, a local news paper, said that Bharat Heavy Electricals will commence studies in chosen sites in Niger.
Nigeria�s secretary in the Ministry of Power stated that "Nigeria�s power sector will remain open to investment with the hope of unbundling the sector�s potential."
