Aramco denies deal with Qatar Airways


(MENAFN) Aramco denied reports stating that it struck a deal to supply Qatar Airways with jet fuel at lower prices inside the kingdom, reported Arabian Business. A spokesperson for Aramco said that "Saudi Aramco has not concluded any agreement with Qatar Airways on jet fuel prices and what is stated by the airline's official is totally false." The General Authority of Civil Aviation gave Qatar Airways a license to operate domestically and services are set to commence next year. In the domestic market, Saudi Arabian Airlines controls 94 percent while the rest is held by nasair. according to CAPA Centre for Aviation.
