(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) €‹Occupied Jerusalem, July 20 (QNA) - Israeli Strategic Affairs Minister Yuval Steinitz announced today that Israel has approved a Palestinian demand for the release of Palestinian prisoners in order to resume peace talks.
"There will be some release of prisoners, Steinitz said in a statement aired over Radio Israel. "I don't want to give numbers but there will be heavyweight prisoners who have been in jail for tens of years," he said.

Palestinian sources said Israeli occupation forces overran the town, roamed its streets and lanes and arrested Palestinian youth Samir Ayed (18) after storming his family's home. They also handed citizen Mahmoud Hilal a notification to turn up at the occupation authorities intelligence offices.(
