(MENAFN- Khaleej Times) Samsung Electronics, a global leader in digital media and digital convergence technologies, said that it has secured a contract from GEMS Education, the world's largest K-12 private education company, for the supply of laptops and smart tablet PCs for the academic year 2013-2014.
The agreement will allow Samsung to provide teachers and students in GEMS schools with its range of state-of-the-art Notebook PCs as well as ATIV Smart PCs that enable web-based collaborative learning. As a strategic technology partner of GEMS Education, Samsung has been working closely with the GEMS since 2011.
This partnership will help accelerate the transformation of classroom education in GEMS schools, which seeks to establish a unique learning environment in schools.
