UAE- DMC and Mubarak Marine sign partnership agreement


(MENAFN- Khaleej Times) Dubai Maritime City (DMC), the world-class mixed-use maritime cluster, recently announced the signing of long-term partnership agreement with Mubarak Marine. The agreement is for the development of an industrial complex project for maritime services, shipbuilding and repair worth Dh130 million. This complex will enable Mubarak Marine to establish their headquarters as well as a major marine workshop and maintenance facility. The agreement is in keeping with the overall promotion and development of business relations and national and foreign investments of companies which are based in DMC. Khamis Juma Buamim, chairman of Drydocks World & Maritime World said: "DMC offers a business-friendly atmosphere and all of the facilities that business and trade establishments rely on for easy unhindered growth, something which Dubai is well-known for. In addition, the strategic location at the gateway to Middle East, North Africa and Asia helps in establishing business ties with companies within and outside the region." Juma Mubarak, CEO of Mubarak Marine Group said: "Dubai Maritime City encourages the growth of the ship repair and maintenance sector by providing excellent infrastructure, logistical support, ready hassle-free set up all of which are pre-requisites for achieving faster return-on-investment."
