(MENAFN- Khaleej Times) A six-month-old Arab girl died on Tuesday after a TV fell on her while crawling inside her house in Sharjah.
According to police sources, the girl identified as Baha was crawling inside her house on Sharjah when the TV placed on a table fell on her.
She suffered fracture and internal bleeding and her parents rushed the girl to Al Qasimi hospital. But she succumbed to her injuries few hours after her admission in the ICU. The source from Al Heera police station said the TV was not placed properly on the table and the police are investigating the case.
He said the police received information about the incident from Al Qasimi hospital and are making great efforts to determine the exact cause of the death. The police are also investigating whether the incident happened because of the negligence of the parents.
