Spanish economy still at risk :IMF report


(MENAFN) The third report issued by the International Monetary Fund (IMF) concerning Spanish economy reflected the Fund worries of risks which still ambush the tumbling economy, Xinhua reported. The report said that the lingering global crisis is still able to influence the Spanish banking system despite better performance after recapitalization the system saying: "growth would be weak if Spain or the European Union (EU) does not take further steps to promote it, while recognizing that most of the measures that Spain should have carried out are already implemented." It's worth mentioning that the IMF forecast for Spanish economy growth in 2014 was diminished to zero percent from 0.7% while it kept forecasts for 2013 at 1.6% fall.
