Kuwait- Woman acquitted
(MENAFN- Arab Times) The Misdemeanor Court of Appeals recently overturned the verdict of a lower court and acquitted a woman of a charge of helping an accused to escape.
The lower court had earlier found the woman guilty and fined her KD 50 for helping a suspect to escape after assaulting two Kuwaiti sisters. The defense Attorney Mariam Faisal Al-Bahr told the appeals court all the accusations against her client are groundless and lack evidence.
