Dubai Taxi honours 155 drivers


(MENAFN- Khaleej Times) The Dubai Taxi Corporation has honoured 155 cab drivers in recognition of their dedication throughout the last quarter of 2012. This came during an event which took place in Etisalat Academy's auditorium aimed at encouraging employees to excel in their work. In addition to Ahmad Mohammed Al Hamadi, the Acting CEO of Dubai Taxi, attendees included Ammar bin Tameem, the Corporate Communication Expert, Mansour Al-Falasi, Director of Resource and Support Department, Mohammed Yusof, Director of Fleet Operations, Marwan Othman, Acting Director of Fleet Drivers and a number of department directors, specialists and senior employees at Dubai Taxi. Dubai Taxi allocates in its annual budgeting some Dh2 million as rewards for drivers, said Al Hamadi, stressing that an effective system has been put in place to evaluate drivers' performance. "The system will also detect drivers with poor performance and provide them the required training." he said.
